Theo Hunt opened his season at the Charles Bowles Invitational in Willamette this past Saturday.  In a time of 25:34 for 8km, Theo finished 29th overall in the Men’s Gold Race.    Asked about the race, Theo replied it was a “good rust buster, excited to run faster.”  Theo’s next race will be a team effort at the Whistler 50 Relay with several other members of Point Grey TFC.

Also, while running for UBC, fellow Point Grey TFC member Luc Bruchet finished 54th in a time of 26:08.  In the women’s race, also while running for UBC, two Point Grey members Maggie Woodward and Heather Slinn finished 21 and 23rd in times of 18:45, and 18:47 respectively for the 5km distance.  On another note, congratulations to the men’s and women’s UBC teams for winning both the team titles.
