Several members of Point Grey ran at the BC Cross Country Championships on Saturday, October 27 in Clearbrook Park in Abbotsford.  In cool and overcast conditions, Point Grey athletes respresented the club well in three races.

Most members ran in the senior competetion in either the womens 6k or mens 10k.  In the womens 6k, Sabrina Wilkie led the way to a 4th place finish in a time of 22:35.  Behind her was Katrina Bruckschwaiger in 11 in a time of 24:55.  Rounding out the women was Jen Moroz, one spot behind in 12th, in a time of 25:11.

In the mens 10k race, Sam Pawluk finished 5th in a time of 32:51, being narrowly outkicked by Blair Johnston (32:49), and Cliff Childs (32:51).  Ryan Huff was 8th in a time of 33:31, and Theo Hunt was 10th in 34:14. 

Kirsten Lee was the sole junior athlete to run this weekend.  She was 10th in the junior womens 5k in a time of 20:13.
